Dear Fellow Anti Carnivore Devourer,

There is a lot of injustice and cruelty in the world. People stick their heads in the sand wishing it to go away.

Other people, feeling impotent in our complex society, give little effort to fight for right. But there is a barbarity going on in our world that we can no longer ignore. This is a viciousness of unbelievable proportions. Maybe you know something about it, maybe you don't. I only need to present you with the plain shocking statistic: Did you know that over ONE BILLION chickens are ruthlessly killed every year in the United States?

Because of our country's blood thirsty taste for chicken cacciatore, barbecue chicken, Kentucky fried chicken etc., millions of innocent chickens are needlessly slaughtered each year. These noble birds are forced into chicken coops -- overcrowded unsanitary places. The food chickens are fed is a tasteless dirty concoction that would even repulse people who eat at McDonald's. Then the chickens are rounded up, taken from their loved ones, their children, and murdered.

These beautiful birds deserve to live full lives, to reach their potential as chickens on this earth. They have the right to see their children and their children's children grow and prosper as productive citizens in the chicken community. We hear people complaining about being victimized. People lament being sex objects. But do these people know what it's like being a food object? People don't eat sex objects. But thousands of heartless carnivores are eating these helpless chickens. Meat eating elements have degraded chickens to the level of food objects -- A fate even worse than being a sex object!

And the chickens have no defense against this savage oppression. They are locked into unsanitary and overcrowded coops. The living conditions of the average chicken are deplorable. They have almost no opportunity for education or help in starting businesses. They cannot worship the religion of their choice. Maybe you think that chickens should help themselves. But a chicken is disadvantaged from birth. They need all the help they can get from people like you and me. Please tell your friends not to eat chickens. I have for a long time stayed away from the bloodthirsty people who are so cruel to eat chickens. But we must face up to the fact that millions of Americans, people in our families, people who are our friends, people who otherwise seem kind and moral are involved in this savage barbarism. We must spread the word that murdering chickens is an immoral outrage!

The chicken is a noble bird who is not given an ounce of a fair chance for a rich and a rewarding life. In fact, many chickens are cut off from life before they are even born. Every time someone eats an egg he is performing a chicken abortion. Many heartless people may think it nothing to eat eggs for breakfast. But every egg that someone eats is murdering the soul of a chicken. No one has the right to kill baby chickens before they are even hatched!

The chicken has suffered an un-measurable amount of injustice. And what has the chicken done to deserve this terrible lot in life? For the chicken is a peace loving animal. Has a chicken ever attacked a man? Has a chicken ever locked a human in a wire cage? Has a chicken ever forced abortion on a woman and then ate the aborted fetus? Has a chicken ever defrocked a human, basted him with barbecue sauce and thrown him on flaming coals? Chickens are sensitive creatures and we must respect them. Chickens have feelings. No one should have to live like a slave or prisoner food object just because they were born a chicken. Chicken oppression must stop!

Please write to your Senator or Congressman and demand that chickens get their rights! Send a tax deductible contribution to us so we can continue with our just cause in defense of the chicken. Tell everyone you know about the plight of the chicken. With your help the chickens may reach their promised land! Remember to do on to chickens as you would like chickens to do onto you.
